Welcome to Bronxdale Tenants Leagues DCC Inc., a vibrant and inclusive community where children and families come first. With two convenient Bronx locations, our childcare and educational facilities are designed to inspire learning, growth, and joy.
Our Bronx daycare centers boast over 150 children thriving in a nurturing environment spread across four spacious floors. Each location features two private playgrounds that provide a safe and engaging space for outdoor activities. Inside, we offer more than 10 modern classrooms equipped to deliver comprehensive early childhood education and care.
As the Executive Director of Bronxdale Tenants League Day Care Center Inc., Ms. Hewitt brings over 20 years of expertise in early childhood education, child development, and leadership. Her profound dedication to providing the highest quality care and learning experience ensures every child thrives in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Ms. Hewitt is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with families through open communication and active collaboration. She fosters a community where families feel valued and involved in their child’s educational journey.
Under her leadership, Bronxdale Day Care Center is guided by a commitment to professional excellence. Ms. Hewitt ensures that staff members are highly trained, compassionate, and aligned with the center’s mission of empowering every child to reach their full potential. Chloe Pashman has been the dedicated Education Director at Bronxdale Nursery for over a decade. With two Master’s degrees, multiple certifications, and more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education across NYC, Chloe brings a wealth of expertise to our school.
A passionate leader and proud member of the “Bronxdale Family,” Chloe fosters meaningful relationships with parents, families, staff, and—most importantly—our young learners in the 3K and PreK classrooms. She is committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive.
As a lifelong learner, Chloe leads by example, working closely with Bronxdale’s experienced teachers and caring staff to support the needs of each member of our school community. Her vision is to inspire children to become intellectually curious, empathetic, and confident global citizens.
Marcia Black brings a unique and inspiring journey to her role as the Education Director at Sound Dale Center for Early Childhood Education. Marcia is originally from the beautiful island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for family, community, and the importance of education.
After immigrating to the United States in 1991, Marcia became a first-generation college graduate, pursuing her passion for early childhood education. She earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Bronx Community College, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Early Childhood from Lehman College. In 2016, she achieved her Master of Science in Early Childhood Education, further solidifying her commitment to excellence in the field.
With over 17 years of experience, Marcia is a passionate educator who has dedicated her career to supporting students, families, and the broader community. Her leadership and vision continue to create a nurturing and enriching environment where young learners can thrive.
